Illinois Beach Hotel is Hiring a Bartender Near Zion, IL

Illinois Beach Hotel, LLC
Illinois Beach Hotel, situated along the coast of Lake Michigan, offers a full-service restaurant, an indoor pool, conference rooms, a campground store and a 92 room hotel. We are looking for an experienced Bartender who want to work in Nolan’s' at the Illinois Beach Hotel, in a Park that receives over 2.5 million visitors annually.
Bartender
Responsibilities
  • Accurately and efficiently prepare drink orders for bar and restaurant
  • Accurately and honestly handle cash and credit card transactions including tips and sales reports
  • Ensure that alcoholic / non-alcoholic beverages are served in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Stock and re-stock bar items, and inform F & B Manager on needs to replenish inventory as necessary
  • Provide timely, courteous and professional service to all guests
  • Adhere to the company’s policy regarding reporting all tips.
  • Maintain all health and safety standards, including the proper sanitizing of assigned areas.
  • All other duties as may be assigned
Requirements
  • ServSafe or equivalent (TIPS) Certification
  • Bassett Certification
  • Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
  • Must have an eye for detail and be committed to keeping the area sanitized and organized
  • Excellent communication skills: ability to count change and reconcile paperwork
  • Majority of shift will be spent on feet in a fast-paced environment and in close proximity to other people.
  • Ability to lift to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally and understand that the position involves frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and turning.
  • Always maintain a positive and upbeat attitude to ensure an excellent guest experience.
Education & Experience
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: Minimum (1) year in a restaurant establishment
Resort/National Park Concession preferred
Hourly rate: $10.00 Tips
